WELCOME TO ST HUGH'S, DURLEIGH

We are your local parish church for Durleigh, Bridgwater.

We are a very warm and welcoming little congregation.  Our 700 year old building is beautiful and peaceful.  Our services are traditional but very relaxed and unstuffy!  We love to welcome people, whoever you are.  We aim to be open, inclusive and loving.  Although we don't often see children, they are always very welcome, and we really don't mind at all if they want to move around and be a bit noisy.

We very much enjoy Christenings and weddings.  If you would like to talk to us about that, do follow the "Get in Touch" link and we'd love to hear from you.  By the way, the church holds about 70 people comfortably, but we can squeeze a few more in when necessary.

We work in partnership with Holy Trinity Church on the Hamp Estate in Bridgwater.  The churches produce a very short joint monthly magazine - "The Bulletin".  It tells you everything that's going on, so do have a look at the latest edition in the Bulletin link.

Our vicar, Rev Will Lane, firmly believes is the limitless and liberal love of Jesus - a love which we try to share with everyone.  Rev Will is assisted by Chris Archer ("Reader" / lay minister).

Our services take place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 3.00pm.
